was reading elfe's blog..and then mushroom's blog. it looks like SL promoted ayu, who recently joined. and it also looks like elfe is bitter about it. it's possible.
and on the other end of the spectrum, what is obviously impossible is a raise for closers. what kind of bullshit is that? seriously, for closers, transport is taken care of. it's a part time job..you get to pick your hours...if you can only work specific hours because of other commitments, too bad. if you picked stupid hours, too bad. no complain rights! worse yet, you dare to ask for a raise. is your closing worth the extra money? do you even remember to remove the steam wand tip, and then soak the poor steam wand? it's a steam wand, not a steam curd-laden-wand! do you remember, every once in awhile to give the la marzocco and entire wipe down, including the top where mugs sit? do you sanitise mugs? do you always remember the most basic of all closings, to check for prep work? perhaps, if you did, a nice pay raise would be justifiable. and then you'd all be clamouring to do closing.
gosh..everytime i see one of their blogs, i'm reminded why i'm glad not to be at WA anymore.
